La Bottega dei Mestieri

TOD’S Group is committed to encouraging young people to enter the world of craftsmanship, which still offers major employment opportunities in Italy. This is why the company’s “Bottega dei mestieri” Academy was created: since 2012, it has trained, and continues to train, a considerable group of young people, introducing them to the world of craftsmanship.
La Bottega dei Mestieri was set up in order to scout and train new artisans to support our production plants in the various product categories produced by the Group's Brands, with a view to facilitating generational turnover while ensuring the survival of the skills needed to support Made in Italy.

Welfare

TOD’S Group’s success is closely linked to the happiness of its workforce and, for this reason, one of its main objectives is to ensure the well-being of its employees, in order to generate value in the long term. Employee well-being is not just about fulfilment at work, but also about the ability to ensure work-life balance.
TOD’S offers its employees a large range of services at the Group Headquarters, including:

  • a children's centre;
  • a gym;
  • a company restaurant;
  • a media library.

In 2008, TOD'S also launched the Welfare Programme for the benefit of employees and their families, which provides:

  • a contribution towards employee costs relating to the purchase of school and university books for school-age children;
  • health insurance for employees and their families;
  • the Welfare Plan, which offers the possibility to access a series of goods and services aimed at supporting personal and family life in health, sport, culture, education, well-being and entertainment, in addition to enhancing their pension and health coverage.
